Javier Pena a fifth grade student has been chosen as our Jewel of the Month. Javier is a responsible, kind, hard-working students that always has a smile. He does his best and has great grades.
Benavides Elementary is focused on improving our attendance this year.
National Bullying prevention month is in October and at our campus we are always encouraging our students to be be a buddy, a friend, instead of a bully.
After waiting for almost four years our brand new stage curtain finally arrived at the beginning of this school year.
A beautiful tradition was celebrated here at Benavides Elementary. Students and staff wore their Mexican attire with pride.
Friday, September 7, 2018, was an exciting day at Benavides Elementary students attended a free dance that was super exciting because the campus had DJ Medina and his lighted Transformer Robot.

This year at Benavides Elementary the Gifted and Talented (G.T) students will use a technology tool called Greens screen for different projects.
