On Wednesday, March 1, 2023 all of our 5th grade girls got the opportunity to go to Juan De Dios Middle School to participate in our Girls in Stem Day. La Joya ISD has taken the initiative to improve the education and career pathways for our girls in school providing our 5th grade girls with a variety of stem activities. All our girls were so excited about attending and participating. They all got to bring home what they created. All elementary Librarians and GT Teachers were invited to participate and help out our girls with the activities that were provided for them. It was so much fun!
