The month of January is all about celebrating our La Joya ISD Board Members. Rosendo Benavides Elementary had the honor of having Mr. Anthony Uresti visiting our campus. Rosendo Benavides Elementary welcomed Mr. Anthony Uresti with an event where our Ace Folklorico Club Students performed for Mr. Uresti. Our Cheerleading Squad surprised Mr. Uresti with a welcomed cheer at the entrance and on stage. Our student council members read a beautiful poem and made all the introduction to our event. All of our students did an excellent job performing. Thank you to LJISD board member, Mr. Anthony Uresti, for taking the time to visit our school.
